Decathlon is a track and field event that consists of ten different disciplines, testing an athlete's versatility, endurance, and skill. The events are spread over two consecutive days, starting with 100 meters sprint, long jump, shot put, high jump, and 400 meters on day one. Day two includes the 110 meters hurdles, discus throw, pole vault, javelin throw, and 1500 meters. Each athlete earns points based on performance in each event, following the decathlon scoring table. The athlete with the highest total score at the end of all ten events is declared the winner.
