History of throwball | About of throwball | How to play throwball

Throwball is a team sport played on a rectangular court, with teams consisting of seven players each. The game is similar to volleyball but involves throwing the ball rather than hitting it. Players pass the ball over a 2.2-meter-high net within three seconds, aiming to land it in the opponent's court. The receiving team must catch the ball with both hands and return it over the net without letting it touch the ground. Points are scored when the opposing team fails to catch or return the ball correctly. The game is played in sets, usually best of three.
